Renault india Renault, which has a global alliance of Nissan in Japan, has promised to invest Rs.4, 500 million rupees in 2015 at a plant in Chennai for 4-lakh units per year. French automaker is also considering establishing a motor plant in the seminar, in addition to creating a full Renault Design Studio in Mumbai and a global logistics center in Pune.Renault Fluence Petrol is powered by 2.0 Litre MPFI Petrol engine which produces a 136 Bhp and 190 Nm or Torque. Fluence petrol can accelerate from 0 to 100 KPMH in 13.6 sec and it features 6 Speed CVT Automatic Transmission.
Priced in Rs 14.4 lakh, the company has launched its flagship luxury sedan 'Fluence' in Indian market on May 23. Last year, the company had ended a Renault-Mahindra joint venture with Mahindra and Mahindra, which was formed in 2005 to make the Logan sedan in India.e is the first stand alone car of Renault after the split with Mahindra & Mahindra. Briefing the Press conference, Mark Nassif, MD of Renault India Said – “It is a very proud moment for
us at Renault India to launch not only the Fenault FLUNCE, our first built-in-india car, but also to introduce the Renault brand to our Indian Customers.With five products available for sale by end-2012, we aim to sell 100,000 units in 2013.”The company is also eyeing 100 million euros worth of components exports in 2012 compared with 35 million euros worth of exports in 2010.
