The results of the IIT-JEE will determine what career paths several students will be able to chooseA student from Army Public School, Gauri Deshmukh, who topped the CBSE science stream with 96% said that her emphasis was on competitive examinations and she had planned her studies accordingly.
"I had appeared for the IIT entrance examination and am looking forward to the results. I had contributed at least five to six hours of study everyday and had also joined coaching classes. My whole career now depends on how I perform in the IIT entrance test," she saidAnother student, Abhishek Pant of DAV School, who had scored 95.2% said that he had appeared for the IIT-JEE this year too and was awaiting the results. "I want to get into one of the best IITs and that will completely depend on how much I score in the entrance test," he added. Abhishek has scored a 100% in the CBSE Mathematics paper.Around four lakh students had appeared fro the IIT-JEE this year conducted for admission to the prestigious IITs at 1051 centres across the countryIIT-Kanpur, the nodal agency that had conducted the examination this year, has announced that all students who appeared for the test will be given full marks for two questions that had errors in the mathematics paper.
